Dr. Beth Robinson
Dr. Beth Robinson is native to the Houston area, originally from Katy, Texas. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M University in 2003. After working several years as an actuarial analyst, Dr. Robinson expanded her outlook and pursued optometry as a profession. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry and is currently a Texas Optometry Board licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and a certified Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
Dr. Robinson has since specialized in ocular disease treatment and complex contact lens fittings as an associate optometrist in Clear Lake, Texas. Finally realizing her dream in the apropos year of 2020, she is thrilled to open her own practice in Friendswood, Texas where she and her family reside. Her focus will continue to include specialty contact lenses and ocular disease, including dry eye, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. She is also excited to offer a fashion forward optical experience, which was her first passion when entering the field of optometry.
While in optometry school at U of H, Dr. Robinson held many leadership positions and was awarded several scholarships and awards throughout the four-year program. She remains a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association (TOA), and Harris County Optometric Society. Dr. Robinson currently serves on the TOA Board as a Trustee and is co-chair for the communications committee.
Dr. Robinson is passionate about spending time with her family, namely her beautiful daughter Blakely, spirited son Smith, and her husband Jared who currently presides as Judge over the 405th District Court in Galveston County. Judge (Major) Jared Robinson continues as a JAG officer in the United States Army National Guard and has served our country for almost 25 years. Dr. Robinson loves dogs, especially pugs, and currently has an energetic yellow lab, Rosie. When time allows, she enjoys exercising and running, hiking, skiing, and traveling with her family.
Dr. Robinson thoroughly appreciates getting to know her patients and protecting their vision and eye health, and she looks forward to caring for the Friendswood and surrounding communities for many years to come.
